Cheryl Garner has been with the Sheriff’s Office for over 28 years. She holds a degree from Indiana University.  She is responsible for administering the Sheriff’s Sale.

Sheriff Sales are held on Thursdays between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office 18100 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, Indiana. Bid sheets are placed in the lobby at 10:00 and written bids are taken until 12:00 noon at which time a verbal auction is held.

Terms are cash (certified funds) at the time of the sale. You must have with you the full amount you wish to bid on a property. If the property goes for less than the amount of the check tendered, a refund is available on the Friday following the sale.

Notices of Sheriff Sale are published in the Noblesville Times on Thursdays in the legal notices. They are published three consecutive Thursdays the first publication being at least thirty days prior to the sale.

There is no access to these properties so they cannot be inspected or seen prior to the sale.

These properties are not guaranteed free and clear of encumbrances.  It is the potential buyer's responsibility to check for existing liens and outstanding water/sewage bills prior to the sale as these liens and bills may not be absolved by the Sheriff Sale.
